Special Order Items - Delivered to You in 5 - 8 Days!

 

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS:

MOST ARE DELIVERED TO YOUR HOME WITHIN 5 - 8 BUSINESS DAYS!

Please understand that with over 10,000 products we make available to you, we cannot possibly keep all items in stock in every size, color, or other variation. If there is no mention in the description of an item that it is a "Special Order Item" or a "Pre Order Item", it is in stock and it will ship from our store within one business day.

 

If the item you are viewing is noted as a "Special Order Item", this simply means that either:

A. It has to be made for you from the ground up by our in-house gemologists. This is what we refer to as a "Special Order A" Item. Items handmade by our gemologists can take anywhere from 12 - 21 days to complete and delivered to your door.*+

B. It is already made but not in stock in our store. Instead, it was made by another artist or factory in USA. We will order it from the other company as soon as you place your order with us for the item. This is referred to as a "Special Order B" Item. 

The "Special Order "B"  item comes from an American artist or manufacturer who will ship it to us via FedEx 2-Day Service. If we place our order with them before 1 pm eastern standard time, they will ship to us the same day we order from them. Please place your order before noon eastern standard time in order for us to be able to have the item shipped to us on the same business day. Once we receive your item from the factory in two business days, we will ship it right back out to you the same day. It will arrive here by FedEx in the morning, and we will have it in the US Mail that same afternoon!

Simply press the "Pre Order Now" button to get this merchandise ordered and on its way to us so we can ship it to you quickly. Depending on the page you're on viewing the product, you may actually have an "Add to Cart" button instead of a "Pre Order Now" button, but it will have a line by the button that tells you that this is a Pre Order Item

Please note that every item in our "Virtual Catalog" is a Special Order B Item. The manufacturer of this jewelry is located in the USA and ships to us the same day we order from them, as long as we order by 1 pm eastern standard time. They ship your order to us via Fed Ex 2-day air, and we will have your jewelry to ship to you in two business days after you order it from us! (We must receive your order no later than noon eastern standard time in order to receive this merchandise within 2 business days. Orders received after 12 pm will be shipped out from the factory the following business day after you order from us, so we will receive it 3 business days after you place your order).

SPECIAL ORDER "A" ITEMS: (Items that will be made for you by our gemologists):         12 - 21 business days.*+

 

SPECIAL ORDER "B" ITEMS: (Items that we order from another artist or supplier in USA, including all items you see in our "Virtual Catalogs"):   5 - 8 business days.*+

*During the busier holiday seasons such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas, this time-frame could be considerably longer, depending upon our work load at the time. We have two gemologists on staff who work 14 hours a day, six days a week during the 8 - 10 weeks prior to Christmas, but please get your orders to us as early as possible to help us help you get your items in time for special holidays. For several weeks prior to Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day, we also have temps helping us with processing orders so that we can assure you of receiving your orders in time for these special holidays, but please do not wait until the last minute to place your orders for these holidays. The more people who do this, the less likely it is that we will be able to satisfy everyone's order in time for the holiday. There are only so many hours in a day that we can work. As it is, we generally work 14 hours a day prior to a busy jewelry holiday. Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation with this.

+These are estimated delivery times only. Once we ship, we have done our part and we cannot control the Post Office. The Post Office does not guarantee ANY delivery times aside from Express Mail. Even Priority Mail is not guaranteed. In fact, in some cases, Express Mail may be guaranteed only to reach you in TWO business days. If you live in a rural area where next day delivery is not an option, you will receive Express Mail packages in two business days after the day you order with us, if you order with us before 5 pm eastern standard time and your item is in stock in our store. If you are not sure if you live in a rural area according to the Post Office's rules, please contact your local Post Office and ask them prior to ordering. We will do our part by shipping out when we say we will, but it is up to you to know whether your Post Office considers your address to be a rural address or a one-day Express shipping address.

 

A NOTE REGARDING INCLEMENT WEATHER

Please understand that during the winter months, we sometimes have to close our store due to the fact that we are located in North Carolina where our towns are not equipped with enough snow plows and other equipment to keep our roads clean when we get snow and ice. Most of our employees live on a secondary road that is usually one of the last to be taken care of when we get bad weather. Aside from that, we also lose power and/or internet service quite frequently during winter storms & hurricanes. If we do not respond to an email within 24 hours, chances are that we have lost power and/or internet service, so please contact us by calling or texting our company mobile phone: 336.583.0932.  Someone is always on call and takes the mobile phone home with them when bad weather is expected.

You might also notice in the winter months or even in the summer and fall when we get tropical storms that your order status is not updated within one business day to "Awaiting Shipment" or to "Shipped", as it normally is. If you do not get notification that your order has been processed or shipped within one business day, you can pretty much guess that we are experiencing inclement weather. We do everything in our power to get orders shipped out as quickly as possible. When the weather breaks and the roads are clear for us to get to the store, we stay as long as we have to each day after the storm to get orders caught up.

This little town gets crippled when we get winter storms due to the lack of equipment to handle the roads and due to the power and internet service going out frequently and sometimes for long lengths of time. It takes all these things to make our business run smoothly (clean roads, power, and internet service). Luckily, we do not normally get a lot of winter storms that do all this damage, but this year has been a doozy so far! Please bear with us and know that we are doing everything we can to get your orders shipped out as quickly as possible! We will even work out of the city library if we have to when they have power and internet service and we do not!

We will not put the lives of our employees or our couriers at risk during inclement weather, so please understand that inclement weather of any kind, whether it be winter storms or summer and fall hurricanes and tropical storms, will prevent us from opening our business and therefore, delay shipping.
